How I treat what you send me
I don’t sell lists. I don’t run ads on this site. If you write to me, I keep that as quiet as the rest of the work.

What I collect
If you ask for the guide, I collect the email address you type. It goes to Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), who send the letters. I also keep a local note in your browser so the form doesn’t ask you twice.
If you accept analytics, I may count visits in a small, anonymous way — enough to know whether a page is being read. No ad network. No sale of data. No profiles built for anyone else.
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. That request can include your IP address. I don’t get that data back.
Why
The email is so I can send you the guide and one honest piece a week. You asked for it when you submitted the form. You can leave any time — every letter has an unsubscribe, and you can write and ask to be deleted.
Strictly necessary storage (your cookie choice, the memory of a signup on this device) is there so the site works. Analytics only run if you allow them.
Cookies
This site does not plaster tracking pixels around. What it stores locally:

Who else sees it
Kit processes the mailing list. They are in the United States. Their policy is at kit.com/privacy. I don’t hand the list to anyone else.
How long
Your address stays on the list until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. The cookie choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear the site’s data.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, you can ask to see, correct, or erase what I hold, or to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your data-protection authority. The easiest path: unsubscribe in any letter, or send a note through the form on this site and say what you want done.
I don’t make automated decisions that have a legal effect on you. There is no paywall that requires you to accept analytics.
